Muskaan recently hosted a delightful virtual puppetry session led by renowned puppeteer Shreedevi Sunil, offering young learners a joyful blend of storytelling, creativity, and imagination. The interactive session brought together 500+ students from Grades 1 to 3 from across India, transforming their screens into windows of wonder and discovery.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Sumitra Ray, Student Programme Advisor, who introduced the guest artist and highlighted the importance of creative arts in nurturing curiosity, communication, and emotional development among children.
Shreedevi Sunil then captivated the young audience with her expressive puppets, engaging characters, and vibrant storytelling style. Through animated performances, playful voices, and colourful narratives, she transported children into a magical world where stories came alive before their eyes. The session was not only entertaining but also encouraged imagination, active participation, and creative thinking.

Throughout the programme, students remained thoroughly engaged, responding enthusiastically to the stories and characters. The session demonstrated the enduring power of storytelling as an educational tool, fostering both learning and joy in equal measure.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging Shreedevi Sunil’s inspiring presentation and the enthusiastic participation of students from different parts of the country.
