Planting hope, nurturing inclusion, and building a greener future, this World Environment Day saw a meaningful celebration of nature and community through a tree plantation drive organized by Muskaan—an initiative of the Prabha Khaitan Foundation and Education For All Trust—in collaboration with Taj Bengal.

The programme brought together special needs children in an engaging environmental activity that encouraged awareness, responsibility, and a deeper connection with nature. Through the simple act of planting saplings, participants contributed to a shared vision of sustainability while experiencing the joy of nurturing new life.

Adding warmth to the occasion was renowned singer Usha Uthup, whose presence made the day even more memorable. Her interaction with the children highlighted the importance of collective efforts in creating positive change and protecting the environment for future generations.
The initiative served as a reminder that even the smallest actions can contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive world.
