An evening of extraordinary musical splendour unfolded in Delhi as Prabha Khaitan Foundation, in association with ITC Hotels, presented a mesmerising performance by Padma Bhushan recipient, Grammy Award-winning maestro Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt at ITC Maurya.

A pioneer of Indian classical music, Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt is renowned for creating the Mohan Veena — a unique instrument that beautifully blends the tonal richness of the sitar, veena, and slide guitar traditions. His music carries the depth of Indian classical ragas while embracing a distinctive global appeal, creating an experience that transcends boundaries.

Accompanied by an ensemble of accomplished musicians, including Pt. Salil Vishwa Mohan Bhatt on Satvik Veena, Shri Abhishek Mishra on tabla, Shri Ratan Prasanna on acoustic guitar, Shri Navin Kumar on Octapad, and Shri Ashish on keyboards, the maestro captivated the audience with soulful melodies, intricate improvisations, and a seamless harmony of traditional and contemporary sounds.
The evening commenced with a warm welcome by Shinjini Kulkarni, Ehsaas Woman of Gurugram, while Amaan Kidwai, Area Manager – Luxury Hotels (North) & General Manager, ITC Maurya, addressed the gathering. Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt was felicitated by Neelima Dalmia Adhar, Honorary Convenor, Delhi-NCR Affairs and Ehsaas Woman of Delhi, along with Amaan Kidwai.
The celebration of India’s timeless musical heritage concluded with a vote of thanks by Anil Chadha, Managing Director, ITC Hotels Limited.
