Questions of health, wellness, and sustainable weight management took centre stage in Gurugram as Kitaab hosted the launch of Wazan Ghatane Ki Kranti, authored by Ambrish Mithal with Shivam Vij. Bringing together medical expertise, lived experiences, and contemporary conversations around well-being, the session offered audiences fresh perspectives on navigating health in an increasingly complex world.

The evening featured Ambrish Mithal and Shivam Vij in conversation with journalist and anchor Sonal Mehrotra Kapoor, who guided a thoughtful discussion on the ideas and experiences that shaped the book. The dialogue examined contemporary attitudes towards weight loss, the science behind healthy living, and the importance of addressing health challenges with knowledge, awareness, and long-term commitment. Through personal insights and professional expertise, the speakers offered audiences a nuanced perspective on one of the most widely discussed aspects of modern health.

Ambrish Mithal is one of India’s leading endocrinologists and a distinguished authority on diabetes, obesity, and metabolic health. Co-authored with Shivam Vij, Wazan Ghatane Ki Kranti seeks to make complex health information accessible to a wider audience, encouraging readers to adopt informed and sustainable approaches to weight management and overall wellness.
The session was further enriched by the presence of Special Guests Kapil Dev and Dr. Harsh Vardhan, both of whom shared insightful reflections on health, discipline, and the importance of well-being in everyday life. Their perspectives added depth to the evening’s discussions and resonated strongly with the audience.
