International Dance Day 2026 was celebrated with enthusiasm and energy through a special workshop organized by Muskaan, an initiative of Prabha Khaitan Foundation, bringing together students from across the country for an inspiring experience of movement, expression, and creativity.

Led by dancer and choreographer Dorothy Shaw, the online workshop introduced participants to the joy of dance as a powerful medium of self-expression and connection. Through engaging exercises and interactive sessions, students explored rhythm, movement, and performance while gaining valuable insights from Shaw’s expertise and experience in the field.

The workshop created a vibrant and inclusive environment where participants were encouraged to express themselves freely, build confidence, and discover the transformative power of dance. The enthusiasm and eagerness displayed by the students made the session both lively and memorable.
Marking International Dance Day in a meaningful way, the initiative celebrated not only the art of dance but also its ability to inspire creativity, foster self-expression, and bring people together through a shared love of movement.
This session was organized in association with Education For All Trust and with the support of Sri Jhumarmal Bachhawat Charitable Trust
